Alameda County Behavioral Health Care Services, providers, consumers, consumer advocates, family members and community based organizations have launched a countywide campaign to promote the federal government's SAMHSA Wellness Campaign. SAMHSA's 8 Dimensions of Wellness will be incorporated into the campaign. We will implement a holistic approach to increase life expectancy for persons with mental and substance use disorders by 10 years in 10 years.
